Mark Russo, VMD, DACVIM

Veterinarian

After graduating from Milton Academy (Milton, MA) and Bates College (Lewiston, ME), Dr. Mark Russo attended the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. He then held an internship and a residency position in veterinary neurology. He is board-certified in veterinary neurology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) and is certified in veterinary acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) and has been at Kingston Animal Hospital for many years.

Known to crawl around the floor with his patients and whisper in their ears, Dr. Russo spends much of his time practicing alternative and holistic veterinary medicine. He primarily sees dogs, cats, and horses (for acupuncture only).

Dr. Russo's non-veterinary interests include volunteer work for non-profit spiritual retreat organizations, yoga, walking, hiking, bicycling, and sailing. He shares his home life with his wife and standard poodles.
